On the day of the eurovision event, which is a disgrace for music and culture in general, and a twitter Discussion concerning MIA's new African video, which is not going to get any broadcasting time, because... it's African, at least so she claims. And of course Miss Azaelia Banks is responding.
And then came this:
If the music industry allows an African artist to come through this year on intnl level, I would gladly give him this video for free.
Indie-Rock meets Post-Rock, well sort-of. This track actually has so much going on. Vocally, Lyrically and Guitar-wise. It's different everytime I put it on. Love it. Just a great all-round track by Young Statues from their new LP, which excels in depth. Still this is a daily pick and for me this one track stands out for me.
